A fascinating classroom experience for grade 11 students in the Vietnam-Australia Dual Diploma High School program was recently organized by Adelaide University.

Here, HASians directly participated in experiments, observed bodily reactions, and actively analyzed scientific phenomena in a special lesson with lecturers from Adelaide University. No longer a one-way reception of knowledge, the students “learned like international students” by actively participating, recording data, and independently interpreting what was happening in their own bodies.

With the theme of brain-body communication, the lesson opened up a fresh approach by connecting interdisciplinary knowledge between Biology, Chemistry, and Neuroscience: from how the brain sends signals to control the body, to the role of chemical neurotransmitters in the formation of reflexes and emotions. Academic content became more engaging and easier to understand thanks to the approachable and practical sharing method.

Beyond just knowledge, the session also helped students gain a clearer understanding of the international university learning environment. Through the presentation from the Adelaide University representative, HASians learned about the training programs, the international learning environment, study abroad opportunities, and how to choose a major that suits their abilities and personal interests.
This experience not only provided new insights but also helped HASians gradually become familiar with modern learning methods, preparing them for integration and development in a global educational environment.
