Hoang Anh Quan – A prominent representative of the global student generation

10:34 - 27/01/2026

With an ATAR of 92.55, Hoang Anh Quan concluded his SACE journey at Hanoi Adelaide School with a result that made his teachers and the school extremely proud – not only because of the impressive score, but also thanks to his outstanding academic and extracurricular profile.

Outstanding achievements in the SACE program:

  • ATAR: 92.55 – Top 8% among 17,000 SACE graduates in Australia and worldwide in 2025
  • Overall Band A in: Mathematical Methods, Research Project, Business Innovation, EAL (English as an Additional Language), and Media Studies

Quan’s academic profile is also highly impressive:

  • GPA: 9.4/10
  • SAT: 1500/1600
  • AP Biology: 4/5 | AP Psychology: 5/5
  • AP Scholar with Honors
  • Outstanding Student of Solomon International School (USA), 2019–2020 (GPA 4.0)
  • H.A.S Ambassador for two consecutive years (2023–2025)

In addition, Quan has shone in international academic competitions:

  • One Bronze Medal – Asian Science & Mathematics Olympiad, International level
  • One Gold Medal – Hong Kong International Science Olympiad (HKISO), National level
  • One Bronze Medal – International STEM Olympiad (Technology & Engineering category)

Beyond academic excellence, Quan is deeply passionate about applying science to public health and nutrition. He is currently the President of the Munchkin Nutrition & WE CARE Club, and represented H.A.S at the Harvard Model United Nations (HMUN) 2025 Conference as a delegate of Iran in the UN Department of Economic and Social Affairs (UN DESA), leaving a strong impression with his English presentation and debating skills.

With these remarkable achievements, Hoang Anh Quan has received scholarships from prestigious universities, including:

  • University of Adelaide – Bachelor of Human Nutrition – 25% tuition scholarship
  • Deakin University – Bachelor of Exercise & Sport Science / Bachelor of Nutrition Science – 25% tuition scholarship
  • One additional scholarship offer from a university in the United States
  • Currently, Hoang Anh Quan is considering the most suitable university option in line with his personal development goals.

Accompanying the achievements of HASians is the Vietnam–Australia Dual High School Diploma Program (SACE) at Hanoi Adelaide School. The program is developed based on the Australian general education framework, focusing on nurturing key 21st-century competencies such as critical and creative thinking, language and numeracy skills, information technology literacy, multicultural understanding, ethical awareness, and personal and social communication skills.

These competencies are integrated and assessed across all subjects, enabling students not only to achieve strong academic results at high school level but also to adapt effectively to international university environments and pursue sustainable future development.

Congratulations to Hoang Anh Quan – a well-rounded, resilient, and ambitious HASian. The school believes that with today’s solid foundation, he will go even further on his academic journey and in his future contributions to the community.
