Hanoi Medical University has removed the C00 subject combination (Literature, History, Geography) after using it for two years. Instead, several programs will add new combinations such as A00 (Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry) and D07 (Mathematics, Chemistry, English), alongside the traditional B00 combination.
On the evening of February 13, the university announced that it plans to enroll 2,150 students, an increase of 240 compared to last year. The university will apply two admission methods: direct admission and admission based on the national high school graduation exam results.
Among these, 40% of the total quota will be allocated to direct admission. If the quota for this method is not filled, the remaining slots will be transferred to the admission method based on graduation exam results.

With the admission method based on the national high school graduation exam, Hanoi Medical University will award bonus points to applicants holding international certificates. However, the university has not yet announced the list of eligible certificates or the exact bonus points for this year.
Changes in Subject Combinations
Regarding admission subject combinations:
-
The Traditional Medicine program, which previously admitted students only through B00 (Mathematics, Chemistry, Biology), will now also accept A00 (Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry).
-
The Preventive Medicine program will add A00 and D07 (Mathematics, Chemistry, English).
-
Several programs such as Nursing, Midwifery, and Nutrition will also include D07 in addition to their previous combinations.
Meanwhile, the programs Public Health, Psychology, and Social Work will completely change their admission combinations. These programs will now use:
-
A01 (Mathematics, Physics, English)
-
D01 (Mathematics, Literature, English)
-
D07 (Mathematics, Chemistry, English)
-
D10 (Mathematics, Geography, English)
As a result, the C00 combination (Literature, History, Geography)—which had been used for admission to the Psychology program over the past two years—has been removed.
