Starting in a new learning environment is an important milestone for every student. To begin this journey with confidence, students need not only thorough preparation from the School but also consistent support and collaboration between Parents and Teachers.

With the goal of providing a strong start for students entering Grades 1, 6, and 10, Hanoi Adelaide School hosted the 2026–2027 Orientation Parents’ Conference. More than an introductory event, the conference created an opportunity for the School and families to connect, share expectations, and lay the foundation for a school year filled with meaningful experiences and growth.
During the conference, Parents learned about the School’s educational vision, academic programmes, teaching and learning approaches, and the ways H.A.S will support every student throughout the school year. More importantly, Parents and the School came together around a shared goal: helping students not only achieve academic success but also create positive impact through what they learn and what they do.

This shared vision reflects the theme of the 2026–2027 school year, “Celebrating Impact.” At H.A.S, every student is encouraged to develop their capabilities, strengthen their character, and gradually create positive influence on themselves, their families, their communities, and the world around them.
One of the most valuable moments of the conference was the opportunity for Parents to meet their Homeroom Teachers before the school year officially begins. Beyond discussing the curriculum, classroom routines, and home-school collaboration, these conversations allowed teachers to better understand each student’s personality, interests, strengths, and individual needs.
This mutual understanding provides a meaningful foundation for supporting every student in the most appropriate way from their very first days at school. It also gives Parents confidence, knowing that their children will be listened to, cared for, and supported throughout their learning journey.

The conference concluded with a simple yet heartfelt activity. Letters written by Parents to their children will become a special surprise on the first day of school—a meaningful reminder that throughout every step of their growth, they will always have the unwavering support, trust, and encouragement of both their families and the School.
At Hanoi Adelaide School, the Orientation Parents’ Conference is more than just the first gathering of the academic year. It marks the beginning of a strong and lasting partnership between families and the School. When Parents and Teachers share the same educational purpose, students gain the confidence to explore, take initiative, and create positive impact throughout the school year.
