Stepping into a new learning environment often brings a mix of emotions: excitement, curiosity, and perhaps a touch of unfamiliarity. To help incoming HASians overcome initial uncertainty with enthusiasm and a proactive mindset, Hanoi Adelaide School is organizing the “Amazing Race: School Codes” event as part of the 2026-2027 Back-to-School series for High School students. This is more than just a tour of the campus; it is an opportunity for students to connect with their new learning environment, teachers, and peers—preparing them for the journey ahead.
Through four challenge stations, HASians will gradually uncover the “codes” of H.A.S. Each challenge not only allows them to explore their new school but also unlocks confidence, fosters connections, and cultivates a sense of belonging. This is how H.A.S supports every student in starting the new academic year with a proactive mindset and a readiness to grow.
️- The Knowledge Station introduces students to the library—a space that nurtures a reading culture and a spirit of self-directed learning. Students not only learn how to utilize the school’s learning resources but also realize that knowledge begins with the initiative to seek and explore.
️- The Energy Station features short physical challenges that allow students to experience a positive spirit, perseverance, and the value of health and wellness. At H.A.S, a healthy body and a positive mindset form the foundation for learning, growth, and creating value.
️- The Connection Station facilitates the first encounters between peers, teachers, and the students themselves. Through interactive activities, students learn to listen, share, collaborate, and build self-confidence as they join a new community.
️- The Creativity Station encourages students to observe, reason, and generate their own ideas. Each challenge offers an opportunity to cultivate flexible thinking, problem-solving skills, and the confidence to express themselves.

After completing each station, students receive a secret puzzle piece. Once all the pieces are collected, the “school code” is unlocked. Through this decoding journey, HASians not only familiarize themselves with the learning environment and the rhythm of life at H.A.S but also develop their observational skills, problem-solving mindset, and abilities in collaboration and communication via experiential challenges. Most importantly, every step of discovery boosts their confidence and initiative in connecting with peers and teachers, preparing them for a new educational journey.
This embodies the spirit of the 2026-2027 academic year: “Celebrating Impact – Creating Value through Action.” After all, positive values always stem from small actions: a step taken in discovery, an initial greeting, a moment of collaboration with friends, or a challenge completed through effort.
