This is the spirit that H.A.S nurtures through its competency-based educational approach and its commitment to empowering every learner.

Every time students ask thoughtful questions, persevere through challenges, take ownership of their learning, or explore something new, they create positive change within themselves.
H.A.S encourages every student to care for both their physical and emotional well-being, cultivate a positive mindset, continuously strive for self-improvement, and confidently take ownership of their learning journey. Every meaningful impact begins with personal growth.
Impact Reaches the Community
Meaningful change does not always begin with extraordinary acts. It may start with helping a friend, expressing gratitude, contributing to a positive classroom culture, participating in a community service project, or caring for the environment.

Today’s world is more connected than ever, and every H.A.S student has the opportunity to become a confident global citizen.
Through academic programmes, interdisciplinary projects, research, debate, STEAM education, international exchanges, and multicultural experiences, students broaden their perspectives, learn to collaborate with peers from diverse cultural backgrounds, and confidently share the values of Vietnam with the global community.
Global citizenship is not about becoming the same. It is about contributing to the world while remaining true to one’s own identity and values.
Throughout the academic year, students will participate in a wide range of lessons, projects, clubs, and experiential learning opportunities inspired by the spirit of Celebrating Impact. Every experience is designed with one shared purpose: to help students transform what they learn into meaningful actions and lasting impact.
A special highlight of the year is the H.A.S Impact Portfolio—a personal journal documenting each student’s journey of growth.
Throughout the year, students will record memorable experiences, challenges they have overcome, new knowledge and skills they have gained, and the positive impact they have created for themselves, their families, their friends, and the wider community.
At the end of the academic year, these portfolios will be showcased at the H.A.S Impact Festival, where parents, teachers, and fellow students come together to reflect on, celebrate, and honour each student’s unique journey of growth.
Students are encouraged to embrace new experiences.
They are encouraged to view mistakes as opportunities to learn.
They are encouraged to ask questions, share ideas, and begin creating positive change through even the smallest actions.
Because every positive action taken today has the potential to become the beginning of a much greater impact tomorrow.
This academic year also marks the beginning of H.A.S’s journey towards its 10th Anniversary. As the school embarks on this special milestone, H.A.S hopes that every student will contribute meaningful stories, creative ideas, and positive actions that together will become part of the lasting legacy of the H.A.S community.
