Welcome back for the 2026–2027 school year: The beginning of a journey to create meaningful impact

After a summer filled with memorable experiences, the H.A.S campus is once again alive with laughter today. Warm greetings, joyful reunions after the holiday, and the excitement of returning to the classroom have come together to create the vibrant energy of the first day of school.

The first day of school is more than simply returning to class. It marks the beginning of a new journey in an inspiring learning environment where every student is welcomed, connected, and empowered to grow according to their abilities, interests, and strengths. It is also a reassuring moment for parents, knowing that their children are learning in a school that values holistic development and student well-being.

With this year’s theme, “Celebrating Impact – Creating Value Through Action,” every school day will be an opportunity for students to make a positive difference through their everyday actions. A courageous question asked in class, a helping hand offered to a friend, a challenge overcome with perseverance, or a new idea shared—each small step helps students build confidence, develop a strong sense of responsibility, and create a positive impact on those around them.

Along this journey, the partnership between the School and families will continue to be a strong foundation for every student to grow with confidence and purpose. When teachers and parents listen, understand, and support one another, students are empowered to explore themselves, unlock their potential, and gradually grow both in their learning and in life.
