Every great journey begins with small changes. Therefore, Hanoi Adelaide School organized an “Exchange Fair” for Primary school students, as a gentle way to help them gradually improve themselves with the message: “Be yourself, but always your better self.”
During their studies, children accumulate reward points through positive behaviors associated with the values of “self-reliance,” “independence,” and “responsibility.” From proactively completing assignments and keeping their study areas tidy to readily assisting friends – all are commendable efforts on the journey of growth for each HASian.
The “Exchange Fair” became an exciting destination where children could personally “shop” for their favorite gifts with the fruits of their labor. More than just the joy of receiving gifts, the activity also provides an opportunity for children to learn how to choose, consider, and make decisions that are appropriate to their “resources.”
The happiness of exchanging a desired item for something they achieved through their own efforts will surely be a memorable experience.
