Summary of the Autumn-Winter Semester for High School Students – Hanoi Adelaide School

11:18 - 14/01/2026

As the final days of the Autumn-Winter semester drew to a close, the Hanoi Adelaide School campus seemed to retain the familiar sounds of a journey that had been completed. Within this flow, the Autumn-Winter Semester Closing Ceremony for High School Students was held as a meaningful culmination, where teachers and HASians together reflected on the learning journey, acknowledged persistent efforts, and provided further motivation for the road ahead.

The program began with the flag-raising ceremony and cultural performances from HASians. This was followed by a speech from the School Board, sharing an overview of academic results and outstanding student activities during the past semester, laying the foundation for a new journey filled with expectations.

In particular, Hanoi Adelaide School honored and rewarded students with outstanding academic achievements, as well as individuals who made positive contributions to the group throughout the Autumn-Winter semester. These awards not only recognized their efforts and hard work but also served as encouragement for HASians to continue fostering a proactive, responsible spirit and a desire for excellence in their studies and school activities.

A highlight of the program was the Academic Showcase – where HASians presented and showcased their exemplary academic projects completed after the Autumn-Winter semester. These projects were the result of applying interdisciplinary knowledge, critical thinking skills, teamwork, and creativity. Through topics such as “Mathematics in Finance,” “From Feelings to Healing,” and the Golden Bell Challenge Finals, HASians clearly demonstrated their ability to connect knowledge with practice, proactively express their opinions, propose solutions, and confidently present to the group.

Among the activities, the “From Feelings to Healing” showcase left a deep impression as a subtly implemented sex education and life skills activity suitable for high school students. Through scenarios, sharing, and discussions, HASians were guided to identify safe and unsafe relationships, learn to listen to their own emotions, respect personal boundaries, and know how to seek support when needed. This was not just an educational product, but also a space for students to be understood, healed, and equipped with important tools for their journey to adulthood.

Each showcase was a learning story bearing the mark of individuals and groups, reflecting the continuous efforts of HASians throughout the Autumn-Winter semester. Through this activity, Hanoi Adelaide School not only evaluated results by grades, but also created opportunities for students to express their abilities, thoughts, and voices. This further motivates the children to confidently enter the new semester with a proactive spirit and a readiness to excel.
