Hanoi Adelaide School is proud to congratulate Dang Gia Huy, a student of class 1HS1, for his remarkable achievements in national mental math competitions, marked by two outstanding results:
- Champion – Grade 2, Future Math Olympiad (FMO)

- Gold Medal – Vietnam Titan Math Olympiad (VTMO)

FMO (Future Math Olympiad) is an international mental math competition for primary students, focusing on developing logical thinking, critical reasoning, and creative problem-solving skills. Meanwhile, VTMO is a prestigious annual mathematics competition in Vietnam, attracting excellent students nationwide, with highly selective questions designed to assess depth of thinking.
Notably, in both competitions, Gia Huy competed one grade above his current level (Grade 2) while he is only a Grade 1 student, and became the only contestant born in 2019 to win a VTMO Gold Medal this year. His simultaneous achievement as FMO Grade 2 Champion further affirms his outstanding mathematical ability, confidence, determination, and admirable spirit of challenge from such an early age.
These impressive accomplishments are the result of Gia Huy’s continuous efforts, the devoted support of his family, and the modern, inspiring learning environment at Hanoi Adelaide School, where students’ potential is nurtured and academic passion is encouraged.
Congratulations to Gia Huy – the pride of class 1HS1 and the HASian community!
