The world is entering an era where Artificial Intelligence (AI) is no longer confined to technology, it has permeated every aspect of life. AI can empower us to create and solve problems faster than ever before. However, to use AI wisely and ethically, individuals must be equipped with the right knowledge, skills, and mindset from the very start of their educational journey.

With this vision in mind, from the 2025-2026 academic year, Hanoi Adelaide School will officially integrate AI as a core subject across all three levels: Primary, Lower Secondary, and Upper Secondary. This strategic move enables HASians to gain early exposure to advanced technologies while developing critical thinking, collaboration, communication, and creativity-essential competencies for 21st-century citizens. The curriculum, with 40-45 lessons per year, is tailored to suit each age group.
For Primary students, the focus is on learning how to question information provided by AI and compare it with reliable sources-such as school lessons or real-life experiences-thereby developing the ability to analyze and filter information.
At the Lower Secondary level, students move from exploration to structured analysis and experimentation-becoming familiar with complex commands and evaluating the outputs generated by AI.
At the Upper Secondary level, the emphasis shifts to mastering AI and co-creating new value with it-applying AI intentionally, responsibly, and purposefully in real-life contexts.
At H.A.S, the AI subject is not Computer Science, and it is not just about teaching “technology.” Our aim is to guide students in applying AI for the benefit of humanity and the community, placing ethics and human values at the forefront. This reflects H.A.S’s commitment to equipping every student with the confidence and readiness to step into a future where AI will be an integral part of everyday life.
