Every student at Hanoi Adelaide School is nurtured and matured in a system of 14 core learning and competency areas that have been built and implemented for many years. In the context of the world changing strongly by the development of Artificial Intelligence (AI), H.A.S realizes that it is time for a new step forward for students to keep up and be able to master the times. Therefore, the School officially added the field of study and core competency of Artificial Intelligence (AI). This is not simply an expansion in the curriculum, but a strategic orientation, demonstrating a commitment to preparing students with a solid foundation to enter the new era. AI is no longer a technology trend, but is becoming a foundation present in all areas of life and work.
The field of study and core competency of AI at H.A.S is designed with a focus on helping students understand what AI is, how it operates, how to apply it in practice, and at the same time know how to approach and use AI in a humane, ethical and human-centered way. H.A.S designed the curriculum with two component competencies: Mastering AI and Creative Problem Solving with AI.
- Mastering AI: Students can identify AI systems in life, understand how AI works, write effective commands, evaluate results, and use AI ethically.
- Creative problem solving with AI: Students can collaborate with AI to analyze problems, design creative solutions, and apply those solutions in practice, based on problem-solving models such as Design Thinking or PDCA.
By adding the core learning area and Artificial Intelligence competencies, H.A.S accompanies students on their journey of global integration, not only preparing them with the necessary knowledge and skills, but also empowering them with the ability to be proactive, creative, and responsible in mastering technology.
