On December 27, 2025, the first on-site selection round of the H.A.S Lighthouse Scholarship for the 2026–2027 academic year officially took place at Hanoi Adelaide School – Duong Noi campus. The event provided students with an opportunity to showcase their abilities, individuality, and developmental potential, as they competed for valuable scholarship opportunities at H.A.S.
Nearly 100 students participated in the on-site selection round.

This year’s selection round attracted nearly 100 students, ranging from kindergarten to Grade 10. Through a variety of competency-based assessment formats, students were able to directly demonstrate their thinking, skills, and personal identity. Each performance carried its own distinctive mark, reflecting the developmental potential and unique qualities of every participating student.
The School accompanied and supported parents throughout the entire program.

While students were engaged in their activities, parents had the opportunity to listen to and engage in direct discussions with representatives of Hanoi Adelaide School. The program was accompanied by Ms. Duong Thi Trang – Principal of H.A.S Primary & Secondary School; Mr. Nguyen Phu Hoang Lan – Academic Director of H.A.S Inter-level School; and Ms. Pham Thi Cuc Ha – Member of the H.A.S Inter-level School Council. Through these exchanges, parents gained a clearer understanding of the School’s educational direction and teaching–learning approach.
A space where students were listened to and encouraged to express themselves.

The selection session went beyond assessing academic ability; it was designed as a space where students were listened to, trusted, and encouraged to express themselves. Throughout the program, students actively presented their thoughts, approaches to problem-solving, and individual strengths, gradually affirming their own personal identity on their learning journey.
The event concluded with great success.
