In the lush and peaceful green space of Sỏi Ecolodge, 10th grade HASians from Hanoi Adelaide School embarked on an inspiring out-of-class learning journey called “Green Happiness Connection” – where nature, people, and emotions are fully connected.

Leaving the hustle and bustle of city life, 10th grade HASians immersed themselves in the fresh natural environment, enjoying the invigorating atmosphere. This experience was an opportunity for each student to listen to themselves and better understand the role of nature in mental health.

The experience began with a series of vibrant team-building activities, where teamwork was enhanced and the connection between members became stronger than ever. Next, the warm campfire gala was a special highlight, where laughter, music, and shared stories created an emotionally charged atmosphere.

HASians also participated in activities deeply rooted in local culture, such as “Catching Fish with a Tray”—a rustic yet exciting experience that helped them understand more about traditional working life. In addition, the “pebble painting” activity opened up a space for unlimited creativity, where each small stone became a work of art bearing a personal touch.

The “Green Happiness Connection” journey helped each student not only explore the world around them but also understand themselves. Through each activity, HASians gradually realized that happiness is nurtured from genuine connections—when they know how to listen, share, and support each other. These group experiences also became opportunities for them to develop communication skills, learn teamwork, and express gratitude and care for those around them. In particular, living amidst pristine nature allows each student to better appreciate the positive energy that the environment provides, thereby fostering an awareness of preserving and protecting it, and moving towards a more sustainable lifestyle in the future.
