“Sports are not just about competing and winning, but about creating connections between people, transcending borders and languages.” – Michael Jordan

In recent days, Hanoi Adelaide School has noticed a “surge” in energy coming from its sports fields. Cheers and applause from the stands have transformed each match into a true festival. Not only on the playing field, but also in the stands – where HASians, teachers, and friends create a passionate, cohesive, and emotional atmosphere.

As the most anticipated annual sporting event, HASian Connectathlon not only celebrates physical fitness but also creates a space for connecting students, families, and the school. The diverse range of competitions, including badminton, basketball, soccer, and chess, gives each student a chance to shine in their own way, suited to their interests and strengths.

The first week of the Sports Festival officially kicked off with basketball – a sport requiring a seamless combination of speed, strategy, and teamwork. On the court, every dribble, shot, or fierce defense demonstrated the high level of concentration and determination of the competing teams. Basketball not only kicked off the Sports Festival with thrilling matches but also strongly inspired the spirit of fair play and team cohesion.

Through each match, HASians hone their tactical thinking, teamwork skills, ability to overcome pressure, and professional competitive spirit – important values that go hand in hand with their learning and growth journey.

Every run, every pass, and every cheer embodies the determination, willpower, and team spirit of the HASians. Don’t forget to follow and cheer on the young players in the upcoming matches at the Hanoi Adelaide School Sports Festival!
