In the digital age, the Internet opens up countless opportunities for learning, connecting, and entertainment. However, alongside the positive benefits, cyberspace also harbors many risks such as fraud, psychological manipulation, online bullying, exposure to inappropriate content, or the risk of personal information leakage… if students are not adequately equipped with the knowledge and skills to use the internet safely.

Following the “Not Alone” Campaign initiated by the Digital Trust Alliance, Hanoi Adelaide School is organizing the “Virtual Networks – Real Risks” Exhibition to spread understanding and raise students’ awareness of the risks in cyberspace. Through creative works and authentic perspectives from HASians themselves, the exhibition not only conveyed a meaningful message but also created an open and positive discussion atmosphere within the series of activities aimed at preventing and educating about safe digital skills.

Alongside the exhibition, the workshop “Safe Online – Happy Offline” was also organized to provide practical knowledge and guide students in identifying and avoiding risky situations in the online environment.

Here, HASians began with engaging activities to connect and share practical experiences when using the Internet. With guidance from teachers, students listened to and learned more about common risks in cyberspace such as online fraud, kidnapping, and seduction, as well as issues related to cybersecurity and network security. The workshop helped HASians identify risks and summarize important principles. Simultaneously, students practice handling hypothetical situations, thereby developing flexible response skills and learning how to protect themselves in the digital environment.

Through this meaningful series of activities, H.A.S aims to accompany students on their journey to becoming wise digital citizens: knowing how to protect themselves, respect others, and use the internet in a positive and healthy way.
