With the theme of the school year “Vietnam in My Heart – The World in My Mind”, the 2025-2026 school year has concluded with many proud achievements for the teachers and students of Hanoi Adelaide School’s junior high school. This is not only a journey of conquering knowledge but also a journey of nurturing young citizens who love their homeland, possess a global mindset, and daily cultivate a spirit of self-reliance, independence, and responsibility to be ready to step out into the world.

In the solemn and emotional atmosphere of the Closing Ceremony of the school year, teachers, parents, and students looked back on a school year filled with efforts, meaningful experiences, and remarkable growth for each HASian.
The past school year marked a significant maturation of H.A.S. Secondary School students, not only in academic results but also in their self-learning abilities, proactive spirit, and sense of responsibility towards themselves, their peers, and the community. From creative lessons, interdisciplinary projects, STEAM activities, academic playgrounds to arts, sports, and community activities, students were given opportunities to explore themselves, confidently express their opinions, develop critical thinking, and problem-solving skills. It was also the school year in which many HASians boldly stepped out of their comfort zones to test themselves in larger arenas, affirming their capabilities and abilities.

In the 2025-2026 school year, students from Duong Noi Secondary School made their mark in many national and international academic competitions such as:
- The TIMO International Mathematical Olympiad, the Bebras International Algorithmic Thinking Challenge;
- The Duong Noi Ward High School Student Exchange Program for 9th grade students in the 2025-2026 school year awarded prizes including: Third Prize in History and Geography (Geography sub-subject), Third Prize in Natural Sciences (Living Organisms), Second and Honorable Mention in English, and Third Prize in Informatics;
- The City-level High School Student Selection Exam for 9th grade students in the 2025-2026 school year awarded prizes including: Third Prize in Informatics, Third Prize in English
- The Duong Noi Ward High School Student Exchange Program for 6th, 7th, and 8th grade students in the 2025-2026 school year awarded: 1 Third Prize, 3 Honorable Mentions in English, and an Honorable Mention in Literature.
Notably, HASians continued to demonstrate their strong foreign language skills, with many students achieving English proficiency levels 1-2 levels higher than the required output level at the secondary school level. Strong English language skills have enabled students to confidently participate in presentations, research, debates, and academic activities in English, while also creating a crucial foundation for conquering high-quality learning environments in the future.

The most commendable aspect lies not only in the awards and achievements, but also in the positive changes in each student after a year of study. HASians have set, are setting, and will continue to set academic goals and persevere in pursuing them; actively participating in projects, confidently presenting ideas, daring to try new fields, and not being afraid of failure. At the closing ceremony, outstanding students were honored with titles such as Excellent Student, Outstanding Progress Student, Academic Encouragement Scholarship, and HAS Ambassador to recognize their sense of responsibility, persistent effort, and ability to take control of their own development journey.

The 2025-2026 school year also saw many activities designed to broaden students’ global perspectives. HASians actively participated in community projects, innovative activities, academic playgrounds, and youth forums such as the Global Youth Forum, discussions on the Sustainable Development Goals, the Teen School Debate Competition, and the Business Idea Competition. Through these experiences, students not only gained knowledge but also learned to listen, cooperate, share responsibility, and create positive value for the surrounding community.

Concluding the 2025-2026 school year, Hanoi Adelaide School congratulates all HASians on completing a journey filled with effort and pride; expresses its deepest gratitude to parents for their support and trust; and to the teaching staff for their dedication, love, and daily inspiration. The school believes that with hearts always focused on good values and the spirit of self-reliance, independence, and responsibility nurtured at H.A.S, HASians will continue to confidently write new chapters on their journey to adulthood.
See you again on your future journeys – where each experience will continue to help you grow, become more confident, and shine in your own unique way.
