Concluding the Autumn-Winter semester, HASIANS Elementary School students participated in “A Glorious Journey” – a 2-day, 1-night experiential activity at Detrang Farm. The journey provided an open learning environment where the children could reflect on their past experiences through authentic and emotionally rich activities.
This journey expanded not only in space but also in emotions and awareness. The children enthusiastically observed and learned about the lives of animals, explored the natural world, and developed an appreciation for their surrounding environment. Interspersed throughout the journey were lively group activities such as tug-of-war and bamboo pole dancing – where laughter echoed, bonds were strengthened, and teamwork was nurtured through shared efforts.
This experiential activity also provided an opportunity for students to bond more closely with their teachers and friends, and to better appreciate the value of teamwork. In this shared space, HASians learned to share, care for one another, and cherish the simple things around them. Two days and one night passed with many beautiful memories, strengthened confidence, improved skills, and positive emotions preserved, creating a meaningful, warm, and fulfilling Autumn-Winter semester closing ceremony.
Concluding the “Brilliant Journey,” each HASian carried not only joy and memorable memories but also the motivation to continue their learning journey ahead with a more positive, open, and confident mindset.
