Concluding the Autumn-Winter semester, teachers and students of Hanoi Adelaide School’s secondary level embarked on a 2-day, 1-night experience called “A Brilliant Journey – To the Land of Heroes” – an extracurricular learning journey where each destination offered profound emotions and values.

This journey took the students to the heritage land of Quang Ninh and Hai Phong, where the nation’s history resonates through the traces of the Bach Dang River – a witness to glorious victories in the nation-building and defense efforts. Through field trips and firsthand exploration, HASians had the opportunity to “touch” history and listen to the heroic stories of their ancestors through hands-on, immersive experiences.
HASians immersed themselves in the atmosphere of a traditional Vietnamese village, enjoying water puppetry, making sticky rice cakes, and participating in traditional crafts. These seemingly simple experiences helped them understand and appreciate the cultural values of the nation that have been preserved for generations. In the calligraphy space, each stroke was written slowly, offering students the opportunity to feel the beauty of creativity and inner peace – things not easily found in the fast-paced modern life.

A significant highlight of the trip was the end-of-semester review for the Autumn-Winter semester for students at Duong Noi Secondary School. Teachers and students looked back on their academic journey, acknowledging the persistent efforts of the entire student body. The school honored HASians with outstanding academic achievements and awards in school and international competitions, spreading the spirit of hard work, confidence, and continuous improvement.

Each experience not only brings joy but also contributes to fostering love for national culture, honing observation skills, cooperation, and a proactive spirit in learning. We cordially invite parents, teachers, and HASians to look back at the meaningful images from the recent 2-day, 1-night experience.
