The “Enhancing Happiness” workshop at Hanoi Adelaide School’s Kim Lien campus concluded, but what the students took away wasn’t just concepts, but a deeper understanding of themselves and how to create a positive state of mind each day.

This journey began with experiences that were very familiar and accessible to the students:
- Changing Perspectives: HASians tried looking at familiar things from a different perspective. When the perspective changes, emotions change too. And many realized that it’s not that everything around them needs to be different, but sometimes just seeing things differently is enough.
- Connecting Through Love: Through small activities, students learned to listen, share, and connect with friends and with themselves. Naturally, HASians understood that the feeling of connection is an important part of happiness.
- Mindfulness expert: Students take time to pay attention to their emotions, recognizing what they are thinking and feeling. It doesn’t need to be complicated; it’s simply about learning to pause for a moment to better understand themselves and those around them.
More importantly, they realize that happiness isn’t something that “comes automatically,” but is formed from very small habits: how they think, how they perceive, and how they face each situation throughout the day. With that foundation, students not only gain more memorable experiences but also become more confident in managing their emotions, maintaining balance, and building a positive state of mind.

The workshop ends, but the journey continues in how students view things, in their small daily choices, and in how they confront themselves.
