This morning, HASians grade 11 of the Vietnam – Australia integrated high school program (Global system) completed the English as an Additional Language exam – an important milestone marking the end of the course and the journey to improve their language proficiency this school year.

This is a subject for students who are not native English speakers, aiming to help them develop their listening – speaking – reading – writing skills in academic English and study in an environment where English is the main language.

For HASians, EAL is not just an English subject, but a journey to explore global thinking, culture and courage. Each essay and each exam is an opportunity for students to demonstrate their academic English ability, critical thinking and independent expression – essential skills that help students confidently integrate and shine in an international learning environment.
With EAL as a foundation, you will have the thinking, ability and method to do the test, analyze, and write essays to study well in the subjects of the 2nd year with subject options including: Mathematics, Creative Arts, Media Studies, Tourism.

The EAL exam ends by recognizing the efforts, progress and serious learning spirit of HASians. Moreover, it is the beginning of a new learning journey at a higher level, where each of you will continue to hone your skills, perfect your abilities and be ready to conquer bigger goals in the future.
