In October 2025, when storms No. 10, 11 and 12 consecutively made landfall, causing historic floods in the Northern and Central provinces, thousands of households, facilities and infrastructure were severely affected: houses, schools, traffic works were damaged, life and study were interrupted.
In the face of such losses, the Lighthouse Fund and Hanoi Adelaide School quickly launched a series of volunteer activities, spreading the spirit of “Mutual Love – Mutual Support” with the whole country towards compatriots directly affected by natural disasters and floods. The total value of support is more than 80,000,000 VND, including:
- 10,000,000 VND to support children of Chieng Son Kindergarten – Secondary School (Dien Bien)
- 20,640,000 VND to purchase goods to support people affected by floods in Thai Nguyen and Bac Ninh (according to the call of the Hanoi Department of Education and Training)
- 16,700,000 VND in goods and necessities sent to Khe Long – Mo Vang Kindergarten (Lao Cai), donated by H.A.S students
- 20,000,000 VND to support the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Hue City
- 20,000,000 VND to support the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Da Nang City
The gifts, although small, contain love and trust, contributing to helping our fellow countrymen overcome difficulties and soon restore their lives; especially helping students return to school soon and continue studying.
